Rostraver/West Newton Emergency Services is a non-profit organization serving Westmoreland, Fayette, and Washington counties. Through strategic consolidation, we've built a stable and robust emergency medical service for today and the future.

• Twice-yearly EMT courses

• American Heart Association CPR courses

• Other specialized medical training programs

Our Journey

 

From humble beginnings in 1976 to becoming a cornerstone of emergency services in the Mon Valley Area, our growth reflects our commitment to community health:

• 1976: Founded by local community leaders

• 1981: Moved to our current home, expanding services and volunteer support

• 1991-2002: Strategic mergers to enhance and expand our capabilities

• Today: Responding to over 8,000 calls annually with multiple stations across the region
